Our Ukranian friends have made it back to Poltava..

For the last few years we have had Ukranian guests at the beginning of the season.. last year they flew.. but this year to make more of their holiday they decided to drive.. it took them a total of three days to get to Morzine! Sergei (the group leader) is a dentist but he spends his spare time metal detecting and last year he found a Napoleonic Coin in a field near Poltava.. which he presented to H and I for good luck at the end of his holiday.. :-) So a very big thank you to Sergei, Victor and friends and please see below picture as promised..

The biggest day so far...

It was one of those days which by the end our legs had no more love to give.. it was a struggle to make it down the home run to the Kinkerne.. We hit the Super Morzine trees, secret lines over at the happy valley and a hike in to the hidden valley.. myself, Tom and Jonny Freeride didn't stop until we dropped..

I managed to get a couple of runs in yesterday.. that's not many you might think.. but quality is the name of the game and these were.. A pic and a video to share the love..

Also.. spoke to Dan from GRAVIS this am to thank him for the Huble Packs which our guests can use for their rude packed lunches.. sweet!!

I have been out with my best mate John who I have to say is the best skier i have ever seen. (Well best mate/skier until someone else comes out with me and takes a better photo of me in the powder....) :-)

So much going on not enough time to blog..

What a start to the season.. the Burton Test Weekend.. the opening of Chalet Chapelle, the training of all our staff who BTW are all awesome.. the SlopeStyle Forum opening party.. and of course riding everyday (except today as I need a few hours in the office to catch up..) .. the photo below was taken by Jon-Paul yesterday after his first ever ski lesson..
